  Stock Market Glossary                                                
                                                   A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, K, L, M, N, O, P, Q, R, S, TU, V, W, X, Y, Z
  Far contract:
The future that is furthest from its delivery month i. e. has the longest maturity.
 
Face value:
The nominal value printed on the face of the share, debenture or bond. Also known as Par Value.

                                                    
  Forward trading:
Forward trading refers to trading where contracts traded today are settled at some future date at prices decided today.
 
Flat Rate of Interest:
Percentage representation of the amount of annual interest on the total loan amount.

 
Fundamental analysis:
The application of economic analysis to publicly available information to predict price movements.
 
  Futures contract:
A legal, transferable standardised contract that represents an agreement to buy or sell a quantity of a standardised
asset at a predetermined delivery date. This is an exchange-traded product.
